Ballmaster Open 2019 500

Tan and Svensson on the top in 11th squad

Cherie Tan

Cherie Tan from Singapore and William Svensson from Sweden were the top bowlers in the 11th qualification squad, both with 300-game. Tan started strongly with the games 260, 277 and 300. Then she faced some problems, but managed to solve them and reached the total score of 1490. Unfortunately she did not pay the fee for 300extra, so she will not fight in that Final on Sunday night. On the results list Cherie has 292 instead of 300 game and also 8 pins less in total, than she made, because of the EBT-handicap rules.

William Svensson payed the extra fee and he now is the second player, who will be on the lanes on Sunday night after Ballmaster Open TV-show. The other man in that Final is Kaaron Salomaa, who shot a perfect game on Thursday.

William Svensson, 18-years, is now visiting Brunswick Ballmaster Open the 3rd time and he really enjoys being in Tali. “This is great tournament, many good bowlers, well organized tournament and audience, which are making a special atmosphere. People here are really interested about bowling and they are following top bowlers really carefully”. William Svensson bowled total score 1416. “I believe that it is enough for the Finals”.
